These terms apply to all purchases made from Lavderma Limited ("Lavderma", "we", "us") through lavderma.com. By placing an order, you agree to these terms.
1. About us

2. Trade customers only
We sell to qualified practitioners, licensed clinics and other professional businesses only. To place an order you must hold an approved trade account. When you apply, you confirm that the information you give us, including your professional registration details, is true and up to date, and you agree to tell us promptly if it changes. We may refuse or close a trade account at our discretion, for example if your registration cannot be verified.
Because you buy in the course of your business, consumer cancellation rights do not apply to your purchases. Our returns policy explains when we accept returns.
3. Products and professional use
Our products are supplied for professional use. You are responsible for:
- using, storing and handling products in line with their labelling, instructions for use and safety information;
- making sure that you and anyone working with you have the training, qualifications and insurance needed for any treatment you carry out;
- your own clinical decisions, patient consent, record keeping and compliance with the law and with your professional body's rules;
- making sure that your own advertising, including any claims you make about our products, complies with the law and the ASA CAP Code.
Product images and descriptions on the website are for guidance. Always refer to the product labelling and instructions for use.
4. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and exclude VAT, which is added at checkout at the applicable rate. Delivery charges, where they apply, are shown at checkout. Payment is due in full when you place your order, unless we have agreed other payment terms with you in writing. If a price on the website is clearly wrong, we may cancel the order and refund you in full.
5. Orders
Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we confirm that your order has been dispatched. We may decline an order, for example if a product is unavailable, if we cannot verify your trade account, or if we suspect the products will not be used appropriately. If we decline an order after payment, we will refund you in full.
6. Delivery
Delivery options, charges and estimated timescales are set out in our shipping policy. Delivery dates are estimates. Risk in the products passes to you on delivery. Ownership passes to you when we have received payment in full.
7. Faulty or incorrect products
Please check your order on arrival. If a product is faulty, damaged in transit or not what you ordered, tell us as soon as possible and we will replace it or refund you, as set out in our returns policy.
8. Side effects and incidents
If you become aware of a suspected side effect or incident involving one of our products, please report it to us promptly. See Report a side effect.
9. Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law.
Subject to that, we are not liable for any loss of profit, revenue, business or goodwill, or for any indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you in connection with any order is limited to the price you paid for that order. We are not responsible for loss or damage caused by products being used, stored or handled other than in line with their labelling and instructions for use.
10. Website content
All content on lavderma.com, including text, images and logos, belongs to us or our licensors. You may not copy or reuse it without our written permission, except to share product information within your own clinic.
11. Your information
We use your personal information as described in our privacy policy.
12. Events outside our control
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as supplier or courier disruption, extreme weather, industrial action or changes in law. We will tell you as soon as possible and do what we reasonably can to reduce the impact.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the one shown on the website when you place it.
14. Law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
